The DROIDSYNC family

DROIDSYNC DIRECT is our main product, available today as a free beta (v0.1). Two more editions are in the works for operators whose books run differently — email us and we'll let you know the moment they're ready.

Not sure which QuickBooks you have? If you open a program on your PC and a company file (.qbw), that's Desktop — DROIDSYNC DIRECT is ready for you today. If you sign in at a website, that's Online — DROIDSYNC LITE (coming soon) will be for you. Still unsure? Email us and we'll point you to the right one.

Built for real operators

• Multi-store from day one. Add 1 store or 10, each with its own QuickBooks company file. Run them all or tick just one.
• Five-minute setup wizard. No config files, no editing scripts. Answer a few questions once and you're done.
• Your password never leaves your PC. Enter it once and it's encrypted by Windows itself (DPAPI), on your computer only — never sent to us, never stored in any cloud. Full details on the Safety & security page.
• Never imports twice. Freshness guards and per-store state mean a re-run only redoes what failed — duplicates don't happen.
• Tells you when something needs you. Clear messages for the classics: Excel file locked, QuickBooks open on the wrong company, portal wants a fresh login.
• Set-and-forget scheduling. One checkbox creates a Windows scheduled task that runs the whole chain every morning.

Every version runs on your own Windows PC with your PAR/Brink portal login. Beyond that, it depends on the version — see the download cards above.

The beta deal — please read before installing

DROIDSYNC DIRECT is beta software (v0.1), offered free during early access. Here's the honest deal:

• It's free — in exchange for your feedback. We ask beta users to tell us what works, what's confusing, and to report any bugs to [email protected] (the DS- error code and the log file from "Open log folder" make bug reports easy). Your feedback is what turns v0.1 into a finished product.
• It's a beta — it may not work at all. Features can fail, change, or be removed without notice. Expect rough edges. If a run fails, nothing is silently half-done — but you may need to do that day's books by hand the way you do today.
• Check your numbers. During the beta, verify every imported entry in QuickBooks against your POS report. Do not rely on DROIDSYNC as your only bookkeeping process yet — keep your current routine available as a fallback.
• Actively supported. Beta means "not polished yet" — it does not mean you're on your own. We read every report, answer every email, and ship fixes fast. If something breaks, tell us and we'll work it with you until it's right.
• Personal license, one computer. Each beta copy is activated with a key we issue to you personally, locked to your machine — so please don't pass the files around. Want a friend in the beta? Have them email us; keys are free and fast.
• You can quit any time. Uninstalling is just deleting the app folder, removing its QuickBooks permission (Edit → Preferences → Integrated Applications), and pressing "Forget saved password" first. Nothing lingers.
